Which webserver do I have to choice?

Hello,

I have some doubts... I need to prepare a server for a webiste that as about 20-25.000 visitors/day.

I'm asking to me, which is the best?
- Apache
- Apache 2.4
- Ningix
- Apache + Nginx
- Apache + DaNginx

Which is your sincerely suggestion?

Hello,

Without going into debates I can tell you that's it's you who should choose, and that is why:

We don't know anything of your hardware specs and what your server will be used for: CMS, forums, chat, video/audio streaming, other. Directadmin with CustomBuild 2 officially supports:

Nginx
Apache 2.2
Apache 2.4
Nginx + Apache.

None of these options will help you if a PHP application which you're going to use is badly written and MySQL tables do not have indexes.

The all 4 are good enough depending on specs and purposes. I've seen cases when standalone Apache works much better then Nginx+apache. But for general cases when you host simple PHP CMS like Joomla, WP, Drupal, forums, misc Nginx+Apache might give you better results.

thanks for your interesting reply.

I have a quadcore server with 32gb of ram.

The site is in wordpress and other sites I use are in Joomla.
