Hi,
Direct Admin has tons of different skins/layouts. Really cool, so people can have it look like cpanel, or look like old DA, or look like a more modern solution I get it.
But recently, they made an update where most users, on certain skins, or maybe all the skins, can't even search for functions on the search bar.
So now here I am, a small time host, who created quite elaborate tutorials on how users can get stuff done. Oh no, theres about 4 different layouts, end users may not be very smart, especially with the new smartphone era. Kids these days are graduating without knowing how to use microsoft excel, and have attention spans of goldfishes.
Having 4 different layouts, making 4 different guides ? End users start questioning stuff like omg, my DA looks totally different etc. So I made guides that asked users to use the search bar for the specific settings. Eg. Search SSL, click on SSL management.
But now DA has two search bars ~
Oh, okay, maybe I'll let users, to use the number 2 search bar.. and, oh wait
In this layout, they have to press Ctrl J..
Wouldn't it be easier of both search bars be combined into 1 ?
I know its not that complicated to explain to users that there are a 2 different search bars, but this is really not very user friendly, and with the amount of brain rot out there, there are many that can't figure that out.
