Hello,

A script called by a cronjob calls the API and requests a backup, that is transferred to a date depending directory on the same server in the user_backups directory unde the main reseller domain.

A few days after deleting (old) backups they restore themselves in a magical way.

Does anybody know why and how to avoid this?

Thanks,

When I delete only a few files a day, they seem to stay away.
I don't know why?
At least in this way I can delete them but it it's gonna take me some time to delete all old backups (even backups of January are still in there).

Not enough details. The entire backup file is restored? As a backup file? Where is it being stored? To where is it restored?

Or do you mean the backups restore the site?

Jeff

I delete the backup files, after a few (2-4) days the backups files and directories that I deleted are back on the same place as before I deleted them.

Doesn't seem possible. If you delete a file by name. What command did you use to delete the file?

And what directories do you mean?

Jeff
