Why does DA need hostname resolution for installation?

I'm wondering why DA needs the hostname to resolve prior to installation? I was intending to host my own DNS, but can't set that up until DA is installed.

Hmm, I can't find the reference I had that indicated that hostname resolution is required. Is this actually a requirement during setup?

I found out it was related to my IP configuration. I have to request to change the IP on my new license minutes after buying the license.
