Hi there, the chap I've just done a web site for bought his URL from a French company claranet.fr.
I've asked claranet to point the URL at at my website and they said they couldn't use the NS server names but managed to get the site up by linking it to 67.131.250.102/~smitha.
Now when you type in the www.provenceprivateproperties.com address, you see the website - and also that IP addressy thing.
Plus, the mail to [email protected] comes back as 'address not found' I suspect the 'domain is not resolved'
When I write to them, (in my appallling French) they tell me that the home page has to be written in frames for the redirect to work. Hmm, never had to do that before..
The URL has REGISTRY LOCK set (according to WHOIS) so I am wondering if this is the issue - or whether there is something else I should be asking them to do. Any ideas?
Thanks in advance for all positive suggestions!
Julia
