Looking for exim executables, I found that in my '/usr/sbin' directory I have copies of all exim executables with '.O' at the end except thereof exim, see the following partial listing of that directory:
Code:

Can someone tell me if this is normal or if I have to start worrying?

Looks right to me. I only checked a fw of them; they may all be perl files. I'm not sure why the .0 files are there; you could ask on the exim-users mailing list.
