Hello!
I found the forum today when I searched for information about some online problems. i registered. Then it says:

You may now proceed to edit your Profile in order to fill in additional personal details about yourself, or you could modify your Options to customize your browsing experience of this site. If you would rather do these things later, you can do so by following the links around the site to your User Control Panel.

Alternatively, you can simply go back to the Forums and start posting in threads.

I went to my Profile, but...

you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:

Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.

What to do now? :)

Is a protection against spammers, the edit will work once your account is verfied, dont know amount of post to become verified or if there is an administrative convalidation of your account.

Regards

Both. Moderators can remove spam posts (some can suspend spammers), so users with a certain number of active posts are automatically validated. (The number of posts to become validated is not divulged, for security.)

Forum administrators can also validate posters after less posts, if requested, depending on post quality. It's a shame that it's come to this, but I happen to run a completely different forum which gets over 200 new user accounts daily from spammers, so it's necessary.

Jeff
