Wich Firewall (APF or KISS)

I've never used KISS but since moginv to CentOS, I've always used APF. I've found it easy to work with and I've had no problems with it at all.

Hey,

We've used both... No problems with either...

Like OxnardMontalvo, since moving to CentOS we've started using APF... No real reason but, it works well and we've had no issues.

KISS is exactly what the name implies:

Keep It Sublimely Simple :) .

APF (especially APF+BFD) is more featured, but a small bit harder to install.

And APF+BFD gives you a lot of log files to follow (or ignore).

:)

We prefer APF+BFD, but we install KISS by default for our clients unless they ask for APF.
