Hi everyone,

On our old DirectAdmin server, we have only one customer with a WordPress site. Their site is manged through Installatron and the site is currently running fine.

This week we plan to move this customer and several other non-WordPress customers to a different server where DirectAdmin was freshly installed on Ubuntu 20.04. The new server has a license which includes the Pro Pack. We used these instructions to build "wp" and logged into the User account of the customer who has a WP site. Unfortunately, we couldn't find a link for WordPress Manager anywhere. Then we ran /usr/local/directadmin/custombuild/build rewrite_confs. And we restarted the directadmin service. But still there was no link for WordPress Manager.

My best guesses about the cause are either 1) I'm overlooking something obvious on DA's WordPress Manager instruction page or 2) the instructions assume you have already bought and installed the Softaculous plugin.

If we do need to pay for a Softaculous license before WordPress Manager will work, I'm tempted to buy and install the Installatron plugin instead. Reasons are that our customer is already familiar with Installatron, and migrating the customer's WordPress site might be easier this way.

Any thoughts?

I presume you did this too?
In order for Wordpress manager to work, wp-cli must be installed on the server. It can be done by using /usr/local/directadmin/custombuild/build wp command.

You might also consider sending in a ticket, because it this won't appear under the users's Advanced Features, there might be some bug.

Thanks for your reply, Richard. Yes, we ran the command to build "wp". I'll send a ticket.

Appreciate your reply!

I'm not a verified user and can't mark this one Solved. But as far as I'm concerned, it's solved. Thanks, everyone!

I installed wordpress manager with command:
/usr/local/directadmin/custombuild/build wp
-=#=- # # #
WP-CLI 2.7.1 Installed.

I am also enabling the Wordpress package on my Directadmin.
It still shows up but click and then Wordpress Manager keeps loading but it doesn't show up.
I think there is something wrong here:
Directadmin Version: 1.649 (57b8827380c88bcea2f8e2002dd9509688a3d3de)
ubuntu server:
Does anyone have any suggestions to help me?
Please !
