Hey @ all.

I don't know if that's the right forum for my question.. but I hope so.

Four months ago I started creating my two WP sites and it was a lot to learn. My old hoster which came with Plesk made it a quite comfortable experience though. That I only realized yesterday since I changed to another hoster (cheaper.. 🤦‍♂️ also with more power). They only offered Direct Admin and after checking out some images I decided to use it.

What can I say.. it's devastating. I'm unable to apprehend the whole structure since there's so many small problems and it makes a very chaotic impression (to me - personally).

Gladly I found this community.

I managed to switch to Alma Linux (newest - 64), managed to install Direct Admin and Softaculous.

I added domains to DA and installed WordPress for both. I remember on Plesk it would give me a subdomain like "whitebull-grey-skull-250.000.232 etc."

Here it's different and I can't reach any of my sites. A deinstalled, reinstalled, deinstalled, reinstalled only one.. and so one.

Now I try to just get one WP site going with one domain, but it says "Site can't be reached". Furthermore nslookup only found an A record after I added an @ record. Is this normal? I only added it because my old hoster showed in a tutorial that it should be done.

Could someone kindly take a look at these pictures if something's wrong? - I tried to redact everything that could be considered as advertising or private info. If there's still something left, plese don't delete the whole thread. I'll immediately take care of it.
