I have a handful of wordpress sites that run on autopilot, aggregating news / stories into specific categories.

Since the upgrade to DA 1.45.2 all of the sites doing this have stopped adding the stories to the specified categories and only add stories to the default category in wordpress.

I have tried each site and I can not even edit a story manually to change it's category. It times out and doess not work.

Something is really screwed up here, I have not manually edited any of these sites for months and all of these individual websites were working fine on their own before this upgrade.

The only thing in common with them no longer working is that the date of the upgrade matches the date each site stopped adding stories to the specified categories.

I seriously need some help here, please.

Hello. No, not unless DA did it on its own during the upgrade.

I saw the new version via the license section of the admin control panel and clicked the update direct admin link there on the 5th.

Then about a week later I realized the wordpress sites had stopped functioning properly on the same day I upgraded DA.

I have not manually edited any of the sites effected for months prior to or after this upgrade. They just stopped working right.

For whatever reason this happened, I have solved it by deactivating and re-activating all the wordpress plugins.

It's quite unlikely it could be caused by a DirectAdmin update, which generally updates nothing else except for DirectAdmin. Perhaps John can tell us if this particular update (to 1.45.2) could have changed anything else.

I work extensively with WordPress and DA has Never done something to a WP site:confused:
it was more than likely due to the WP updates and not anything else, once in a while those updates will deactivate a plugin and not
reactivate.. or if you have WP set to update themes and plugins as well:o
