Hi,
I am a wordpress web designer. My customer asked for subdomains for his website. I have changed the required configs suggested by wordpress to create subdomains (I have setup a network of multisite), but I only get the placeholder for subdomain. when I create subdomains in direct admin panel, I get a folder named by my subdomain but it doesn't recognize wordpress and my Theme.

I really need to get it done. Thank you in advance. I'd appreciate any suggestion.

If you are using WordPress multisite and create extra sites in WordPress wich is sub domains, then don't create the subdomains as regular subdomains in DirectAdmin. So, first delete the subdomain you created. Then do this:

In DirectAdmin under the domain for wich you have installed WordPress multisite, you create a domain pointer as a "alias" pointer: You just create the subdomain as a domain pointer. Then it will work out of the box.

Thank you @ditto . How should I create a domain pointer? and where? In "public_html" folder or "domains" folder?
I usually don't deal with this kind of stuff, so I don't know exactly how to do this.

If there is a documentation about domain pointer I'd appreciate it if you could send the link to me.

You should create the domain pointer in your DirectAdmin control panel. I don't know wich "skin" you are using, so I can't guide you. Just look around and you will find it. It is not hidden.
