Hello,

Can someone help me to do Restore Backup from cPanel to DirectAdmin?
I don't have SSH access in cPanel server, cause I only have reseller account.

I did backup each account through cPanel and got file backup name like backup-9.15.2023_18-34-46_username.tar.gz
Now I want to restore it to DirectAdmin server, I have root access in DA server.

How to do the restore?
I'm using DA v1.652
Thank you...

Just rename the backup file to cpmove-username.tar.gz and it should be fine.

Just like he said. Rename the file to cpmove-username.tar.gz and use the same username which was used in cPanel.
Then use the admin backup/restore function to restore the account.

Be aware, some things in cPanel are different, usernames might be too long, so mind these considerations (and solutions).

Thank you Richard, it's worked :)

I have created the folder converted_user_backup but when I go to the restore page in DA I don't see any files, even followed the guide to create a folder called all_backups and still nothing shows
