Your experience on MySQL upgrade

Hello everybody,

May you mind share your experience on
- upgrading MySQL from 5.0 to 5.1 series, and
- upgrading MySQL from 5.1 to 5.5 series?

Does it break any PHP common web applications (e.g. WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, etc) in shared web hosting server?

When i did upgrade from 5.0 to 5.1 nothing went bad, all site worked.

Ive tested upgrade from 5.1 to 5.5 on a test box and i was having problem with nagios, never tryed with customers websites.
