My Centos 7.7 System has a problem when i run #yum update or #yum install <any package>

# yum update
Loaded plugins: fastestmirror
Loading mirror speeds from cached hostfile
Could not retrieve mirrorlist http://mirrorlist.centos.org?arch=x86_64&release=7&repo=sclo-sclo error was
12: Timeout on http://mirrorlist.centos.org?arch=x86_64&release=7&repo=sclo-sclo: (28, 'Operation too slow. Less than 1000 bytes/sec transferred the last 30 seconds')

One of the configured repositories failed (Unknown),
and yum doesn't have enough cached data to continue. At this point the only
safe thing yum can do is fail. There are a few ways to work "fix" this:

1. Contact the upstream for the repository and get them to fix the problem.

2. Reconfigure the baseurl/etc. for the repository, to point to a working
upstream. This is most often useful if you are using a newer
distribution release than is supported by the repository (and the
packages for the previous distribution release still work).

3. Run the command with the repository temporarily disabled
yum --disablerepo=<repoid> ...

4. Disable the repository permanently, so yum won't use it by default. Yum
will then just ignore the repository until you permanently enable it
again or use --enablerepo for temporary usage:

yum-config-manager --disable <repoid>
or
subscription-manager repos --disable=<repoid>

5. Configure the failing repository to be skipped, if it is unavailable.
Note that yum will try to contact the repo. when it runs most commands,
so will have to try and fail each time (and thus. yum will be be much
slower). If it is a very temporary problem though, this is often a nice
compromise:

yum-config-manager --save --setopt=<repoid>.skip_if_unavailable=true

Cannot find a valid baseurl for repo: centos-sclo-sclo/x86_64

No issues with that, mirrorlist is reachable instantly. Could be a temp problem maybe?

Try this:
yum clean all yum list updates
Then see if you can use the yum update and yum install again.

Hi Richard. I Ran the commands

I continue with the errors.

Do you have a direct connection with the internet or via a proxy? Or is it running an automatic malware scan?

Try editting your /etc/yum.conf file and edit or add these lines under the main section so it looks like this
Code:
[main]
minrate=1
timeout=300
then try again.

Hi Richard.

I apply your recomendation but i still have the error.

Direct connection

This server has installed the centreon app is IT monitoring platform.

Hello jzmendo.

I'm sorry, I have no clue, we only support Directadmin on this forum.
I have no idea if the app could be conflicting.

It seems the transfers go too slow but I don't know what is causing it. Maybe you can ask over at Centreon support if they have a clue.
Might also be yum is blocked by firewall due to too much traffic by hoster or datacenter.

I don't think this is DA related at this point. You can find lots of the same issues via Google, maybe there is a solution to be found, but my good guess it's network traffic, so probably blocked or filtered somehwere.
