hi
i've just moved a server to a different hosting company and the logwatch shows 7000+ refused relays and then goes on to list them all, line by line, and hence this makes my daily logwatch that is posted daily, massive.
i have another server that never lists these refused relays, however the logwatch.conf files seem to be basically the same.
my question is, are these open relay attempts because the person who had the ip before me had open relays or have i got a logwatch detail setting different other than the settings in logwatch.conf that i'm not aware of?
thanks in advance
