Hello,

I just got a brand new server and installed Debian with Directadmin.
Apache 2.2.10 Running
DirectAdmin Running
Exim 4.67 Running
MySQL 5.0.67 Running
Named 9.3.4 Running
ProFTPd 1.3.1 Running
sshd Running
dovecot 1.1.6 Running

Almost everything works correctly. The only problem i have is the Authenticated SMTP. I want users to mail by using their own smtp. mail.domain.dm (on the server).
Is there someone who got some experience with this? Cant find anything about this.

Thanks in advance

What errors are you getting? Are they using port 587?

Im not getting any real errors. All the mail stuff works.

I can recieve email with smtp: mail.domain.com but when trying to send with that adress there is a connection problem. Havent done anything special with the server.

Only activated Spamassassin

Send test e-mail message: Outlook cannont connect to your outgoing (SMTP)e-mail server. If you continue to recieve this message, contact your server administrator or ISP

How can i see what port they are using? I assume port 25 (mail)
