Hello

I have one a update, friday i think, and since emails are working realy bad.

I reloaded exim and now i dont get any emails.

When i look at the emails queue (all emails are there ... lists getting longer by the minute) here is the error on all emails :

2009-01-19 11:49:30 Received from <> R=1LOrhC-0001Fa-GN U=mail P=local S=5899 T="Mail delivery failed: returning message to sender"
*** Frozen (delivery error message)

or like this one :
2009-01-19 11:52:26 Received from <> R=1LOrk2-0001Vf-Nz U=mail P=local S=34924 T="Mail delivery failed: returning message to sender"
2009-01-19 11:52:26 routing failed for email@domaine.com F=<>: Unrouteable address
*** Frozen (delivery error message)

Can someone help?
Thx,

Gunning Sky

I solved the problem of not getting any emails by updating exim.conf with DA build tool.

But i still get a Unrouteable address for all emails sent.

Any ideas ?

Hello

I now understand where the problem is.
This "Unrouteable address" is only when there is a "Mail Forwarder" defined.

When i try to send a email to someone that is not on the server (like hotmail or gmail) the email is not sent. Like if smtp for emails outside the server dont work.

For all email? Or just for certain domains, such as hotmail or gmail?
Like if smtp for emails outside the server dont work.
Again, for all domains? Or just for some?

Generally this problem, if not for all domains, is missing reverse DNS.

Since you didn't tell us your servername, your main IP#, and other pertinent details, it's impossible to even try to guess the problem.
