send link file after upload by FTP

I have ftp account is [email protected]
/home/mydomain/domains/mydomain.com/public_ftp/data/

1. Now, I want to share some file on this ftp account to my friends.
What can I do???

2. How can I change password for [email protected]? (without using main account login DA)

1. But I just want to share some file (not everything of ftp account) so can't send ftp information to them. That is simple like send a link file??? I can?

huh
you need to create a username point it into your path ....
for example if you have them in the public_ftp folder you need to go to
ftp://yourdomain.com and you will see a list of your files
or point the user to a other path like a folder inside public html and browse to
http://yoursite/FTPFolder

public_ftp is not available in a browser. You have to use a ftp program to access it. Therefore you would need to send them the ftp login information.

If you want to share some files put them in a separate directory within public_html. Then you can give them a link to that.

Make sure you add a Options +Indexes for that directory too (in .htaccess) so it lists the files.
