I have a content management system that I am implementing into a couple of websites that are hosted by DirectAdmin and they work fine my other servers, but the login system does not work for the 2 sites hosted by direct admin. I have no idea how this is happening as the databses are the same and I have created the dbases in direct admin with the same credentials.

I want to add as well.. my client who has the re-seller account with them origianlly created the new account. When I first tried to upload my files (.php) they would not display and I got a message saying no input selected or something. Also .html files worked fine.
I deleted the account and created a new one and presto.. the .php files worked fine but now this issue with the login for my cms.

Again I have another server that uses cpanel and everything works fine over there :/
Any help would be greatly appreciated :)

It's doubtful that your sites are hosted by DirectAdmin, as DirectAdmin is NOT a hosting company. You should probably check your logs.

Has anyone else had an issue like this with hosting from direct admin?

The point of discussing who is your host is because at this point your host is likely to know more about how your system is set up and in a better position to help you.

DirectAdmin is simply a control panel. They do not provide hosting. The control panel is not related to the problem you are having now.

And you still have not answered the question. If you want help you have to do what we ask you to do instead of arguing about stuff.

Refer to post #3. Do your apache logs have anything to say about the problem you are having?

umm.. yes they do obviously. My client has a reseller account with them.
No, obviously; read above; DirectAdmin is a software product of JBMC Software. They are not webhosters.
I mean maybe it is just powered by or something, but I log into the hosting account and there is a big header that says DirectAdmin.
If you want specific help without helping us help you (see my note about checking your logs) you'll have to ask the hosting company. We can't figure that out; you haven't given us enough information.

If you tell us the domain name we may be able to tell you the hosting company (but maybe not; it all depends on information in the whois and dns records of the domain).

If you tell us the name of the CMS, perhaps someone who has some experience with it will be able to respond.

Or as Floyd points out, tell us what you see in your logs. Or go to your hosting company for specific help. We can't do much for users here because we have no idea how the hosting company has set up the server.

And your so far unwillingness to tell us anything, doesn't make it any easier.

At least one of us in this thread is a moderator and can close the thread. If it gets to the point where the moderator believes no-one will be able to help you, then it would be easy enough for the moderator to close the thread.

We're still trying to help.
