Adding Domain to User-Level

Dear Forum.

When i try to add my main domain to my directadmin panel i get the next error.
Details

That is the hostname which is reserved. Either change the hostname, or use a different domain

Is this a DNS problem ?
What should i do ? Please help.

You should not set your hostname to your actual domain. You should change your hostname of your server.

Just i still now need to add the domain.
What do i need to add now ?
The main domain or the server.mydomain.com ???
