I used to host my websites on a shared hosting with ResellerClub and I was provided with the regular cPanel (http://cpanel.net/) and all used to be fine. But, now I tried to change host with a VPS server, and I was only provided a DirectAdmin. I had never even heard about that until at that point, and to make matters worse, there seems to be not enough tutorials to even get started. I don't know how to upload files, create a public_html directory, how to add domains ...
Does anyone has a simple newbie friendly guide as to how do a simple basic thing, such as create a domain (dns) and upload files to it?
Ultimately, I am looking for a way to transfer my website from the shared hosting (at resellerclub.com) to my new hosting provider, which has a VPS in it, with DirectAdmin and CentOs in it.
