hi everyone!

I ask here because I cant find the answer, reading the code and searching on google, what is this two file?, I have a suspicious customer who upload only two file in my server... index.cgi and v2114b.cgi, both with 20000 line of code.

the webpage, is a landinpage example of freedns.afraid.org services. but clearly it is not.

anyone has an idea of what it is?

First of all, if it's your customer, why are you taking stuff from his website if you don't know what it is and posting it online. Ever heard of a thing called 'Privacy' ?
In this case it's open source stuff but what if it was a closed source developed cancer-curing-free-energy goodie?

Second, in the first few lines you can read it's a proxy service.

Edit: And IF you feel the need to post customers code online... at least check for any the passwords in the scripts so you or your customer don't get hacked ;)

I disagree with you. and I can give a lot of examples of why I can check the code if I have suspicion of any abnormal activity.

Sure, you SHOULD check all code you don't trust. No issue there. But posting it online for everybody to download is a little step too far IMHO.

yes, but in this case and the domain used, and all data of the customer, that thing I know, I perfectly know that is not a personal webpage, I check the code, and clear is not a blog. "It not know what is, but know what is not".... and I do not find this code in google. therefore I raised suspicion. is not so difficult to understand!.
and now I see I am correct, I do not allow proxy cgi in my hosting.

thanks for the url!
