Hi,

i've just reinstalled my system running Directadmin my usual way(openvz image of CentOS 7), all updates done and installed directadmin, websites appear to fail at times requiring httpd restart, the ipv6 linking does not update DNS records for adding all records to the linked ip to an aaaa record, it also does not update the virtualhosts on the apache, for a while I was even having network errors on the Custombuild page within directadmin and is it normal that all restored accounts appear to use the older theme rather than the new one?. - The IP Linking all worked as it should, updating records and virtualhosts on the previous setup.

Could the theme mismatch be part of the issue after restoring updates? this also failed to connect via ftp on the backup server, requiring me to manually upload the backups as it would load in 2 files, one with the number one and another with several numbers, obviously not my backup files, I had no issues with accessing the backup server before reinstall and running the old theme(directadmin had continuously been updated when available).

I'm at a loss, been at this several hours and it's not making sense with all the issues i'm having, hope someone is able to help and point me in the right direction, don't want to have to go through a whole reinstall and secure everything again.

Regards,

I managed to resolve the httpd issue by changing the php mode to php_fpm, the rest still having issues with

Hi,

Have you followed official linking instructions provided at https://www.directadmin.com/features.php?id=1377 ( Link IPv6 to IPv4 section) ? DirectAdmin selects skin set in the backup for restored account so if user had old skin on the old server it will have old skin on the new server as well. You may, however, mass apply new skin via:

Reseller level -> Skin Manager -> Evolution -> Apply to all

What kind of issues do you get when you try connecting via FTP? Perhaps old protocols are being used on the backup server?

the linking to ipv4 is what i used before reinstall, but when doing it now, it says it's linked, but sets nothing as i stated in original post, no aaaa records, no addition to the vhosts, so then doesn't work there either.

As for the ftp issue, it doesn't throw an error, it shows the following as files to restore:
