Hi.

If we change the hostname over the DA script /usr/local/directadmin/scripts/hostname.sh

all settings will replaced but not this settings

/usr/local/directadmin/conf/directadmin,conf - ssl_redirect_host=
/usr/local/directadmin/custombuild/options.conf - redirect_host=

will replaced.

That is not a bug. Those settings need to be done manually since the redirect host can be set to something of choice.
Also there are admins which do not want to use the redirect host setting.

Yes. thats possible that admin do not wont it.
But if this settings is set in the config than i think it is possible that the admin want it ;-)

It might be, but that still does not make it a bug. :)

However if you think this might be something to be set by default, freel free to post a feature request here:

Please DA team mention about both the files which needs manual action in the tutorial of hostname change
/usr/local/directadmin/conf/directadmin,conf - ssl_redirect_host=
/usr/local/directadmin/custombuild/options.conf - redirect_host=

Took almost 24hrs to solve the issue of redirect_host value which was under options.conf
