Hi all,

Very new to DirectAdmin, but super, SUPER impressed with it so far.

I was wondering how I can create my own custom button / link within the Admin interface, to be shown to admins only. At this point, it simply needs to be a button which acts as a hyperlink (I have Grafana set up for performance monitoring and want a quick way for admins to access it).

As the Grafana interface is running on the host, I would like it to be able to collect the existing host url (without port number). I'm happy to design a little icon, is there any specific format? PNG etc? (see attached mock-up)

I was digging around on the net, but couldn't find an answer, or maybe just not searching well.

Thanks in advance!

Hi @bdacus01,

Thanks for taking time to respond, however, I'm afraid the linked articles aren't what I need. I'm very surprised that there's no desire to add options to the dashboard, other than as plugins / modules etc.

Even trying to work out where those icons are coming from would be a start.

I thought you wanted to add a custom link and a icon to the Admin evo frontend?
Did you check this out?

Do you mean like where in the theme its stored? I think it's closed source.

if you need the company to add something you would post that in the Feedback section. Link provided.

@bdacus01 - Indeed I do, but the function listed there for adding the icon, only adds it as a "Feature Set", not a "feature". Thus, it only shows in a specific layout, when the icon grid is the layout I require.

I've added my post to the section you mentioned!

Thanks again.
