I previously mentioned that I cannot connect to one out of two Synology NAS units, both with same settings but in each different physical location, when using DA+Alma Linux 8. Using Centos 7, I can connect to both just fine, no other settings needed. It seems to be a problem at NAS level in conjunction with Alma Linux. Anybody has a clue? Error message says FTP credentials are not good when making backup settings.
(/usr/bin/curl returned error code 7
curl: (7) Failed to connect to xxxx.synology.me port 21: Connection refused
FTP information invalid.)
Cannot connect to same NAS for restore also, error message says it cannot read the designated folder as admin account. The other NAS connects OK. Again, using a DA+Centos 7 server in exact same location and configuration/settings, all works as it should both for backup and restore on both NAS units.
