I don't know for sure where to put this but since its a issue on user level, ill post it here.

A user wanted to try the new skin so i changed it to evolution, he wanted me to revert, so i put it back on enhanced and now his user is broken. I can't get this fixed Directadmin is updated to the latest version, I copied the skins from a different server, checked in his users what could cause this, maybe a setting in the user.conf. But nothing seems out of the ordinary.

This issue is now there for over 30+ days and doesn't seem to get fixed. Restarting directadmin rebuilding caches clearing cache on user end even on a different computer the skin is broken. Every other user is fine and works.

What to do....?

Odd coincidence - I'm having the exact same problem, except that the guy who wanted to try evolution was myself and I'm the admin. After reverting, all the images are broken with image scr="/none".

Glad you already tried all the things that I need not try anymore.

I had this issue too and redownloading the skin fixed the issue, like Zhenyapan says.

This, however, did the trick for me:
Also already mentioned by Zhenyapan. ;)

Redownloading the skin ( https://www.directadmin.com/skins.php ) didn't work for me, I got an error upon installation:
I don't know what you where doing at that skins.php page, the direct link to the enhanced package is in the link I gave, so you wouldn't have the issue installing the package.

Anyway, glad to read that changing to English fixed it for you.

The problem with images in Enhanced skin can be caused by using Evolution and switching to a language that does not have translations in Enhanced. The proper fix is the one you used - just manually changing the language either via config file or setting it to English via the Evolution skin before switching back to Enhanced.

Images are actually part of translations system Enhanced.

Well in my case I was using English anyway, and I really had to re-install the enhanced skin (like said in my thread) and I was not the only one with that issue where that solution worked without changing languages.

So it's good that people know both solutions, just in case. ;)

I still have to get used to this forum changing simple links into boxes, but the result was the same - the link in your post (same that I arrived at) lead to the aforementioned errors.

This. Didn't actively change any language settings, but after switching to Evolution and back, it had been changed for me. Hint: It was changed to my native language, so it appears that some script in the process used my country or browser settings or whatever else.

Yep, in your case when a language change takes place, then the solution is to get back to English.

Re-installing is only necessary when somebody has the same issue I had, sudden dissappearance of the English, even without changing to Evo.
Before this I didn't know it could also be caused by something else. So as said, we have 2 possible solutions now here, depending on the cause of the problem. ;)

Sure, but then again the only lang there is is EN. When switching skin DA should not force a language that is not even there or at least have a fallback to the native lang EN.

anyway is all good now.
