Hello , We have purchased a server with the following specifications. CPU: Intel Xeon E5-1650 v4 - 3.6 GHz - 6 core(s) RAM: 64GB - DDR4 Hard Drive(s): 1x 1TB (SSD SATA) Bandwidth: 150TB @ 1Gbps We would like to be able to split it in two, one part for Directadmin and the other part...
Sorry, I misreading "next to a DA". I don't think you can installing proxmox inside Directadmin box. You should install proxmox and create VM to run Directadmin.
That my links,, he trying to install Directadmin on Proxmox server. So result,
the disk quota of directadmin doesn't work.
but if you trying install Proxmox on directadmin box, Your data could be broken in many ways.
you can trying install Proxmox, then install Directadmin. because proxmox have their own disk management system. so it could break change with directadmin quota system.
other problem I don't know. but 2 big system install on same box it could have weird problem.
@A7U You shouldn't try and run anything on the hypervisor control, great way to break it and cause lots of problems. DA runs well inside a VM on the server, that's how I run most of my servers.
