Trying to change user password from Admin and get this error:

Just trying to change a users' password. Not sure how this can be messed up.
 
There was no EXIM installed on the server. So DirectAdmin does n install Exim or Bind? Any other needed services use that DirectAdmin does not install?

Sorry, I'm not used to installing a control panel that doesn't add the software that it needs to operate. This seems very odd to me.
 
I found the /build-software page. I'm I supposed to add them one at a time? Is there a way to add all of them or a set? I assume these are installed if they are listed here?

Just a question due to your other issues you report here.

Is this a new installation? If yes, did you wait until all background processes were finished and you got a message in the message system about that?
Because DA itself is installed very quickly, but all other things, like also Bind and Exim etc. are installed in the background and will take some time.

Until that is ready it is advised to not change things in the configuration as those changes would not be seen or taken over by things not installed yet.
So best is to wait until the complete installation is finished.
