Hello

I’m used to centrally managing WordPress installations in Plesk with the "WP Toolkit." The most important thing, of course, is being able to update the various websites and their plugins with great ease.

I’ve seen a few tools out there, some of which are quite expensive.

How do you handle this with DirectAdmin?

Cheers!

As far as I know the DA panel does not have the option to manage all sites with the build in WP Tools.

Depends on what you're looking for. Softaculous is very nice priced and can do the same. Not sure if that also goes for plugins but you can look that up or wait for others to answer.

Softaculous sounds interesting—especially the fact that it integrates with DA. I’d certainly like to take a look at that product.

Thanks for the tip.

Natively DA Panel only has WP Manager which can update only WP itself. But there is no way to monitor and update WP PlugIns. So, Softaculous can be the tool that you need. Also you can check Installatron one. But I cannot say which one is cheaper or/and better. This site, for example, has some comparison for both of them, which you can check:

I didn't look at the comparison site yet, but we've had Installatron for several years in the past and later switched to Softaculous.
According to us, Softaculous is not only cheaper, but had better integration in DA and also not the least important, they have great support!

We changed all servers to Softaculous and never had any regrets.

Thanks for the tip.
You're welcome.
Ahyes, also not the less important...
Backuply Server Pro is included for free with an active Softaculous Premium license on DA.
