Mailing list problems

I don't know if this is part of the problem or not ...

but...

When DA was first getting started, they tried a few different combination of ownership and rights before settling on what they do now.

The changes wouldn't have affected account already running.

But when backups are restored to newer systems the directories get created with the new ownershiop but not necessarily the proper rights.

At least that's been my occasional experience.

I have the same problem when i create mailing list.
All send message to the mailing list could not be handle.
Error 550 Unknown user.
But i'm a customer and i have restricted rights.
What can I do?
