LFD mails from other server suddenly treated as spam?

I check several servers and normally my mail address is in the alias so I also get root mail. In this case the sendering server is a cPanel server and some LFD mails are refused now. But I can't find out why as they are not on any blacklist. Reporting MTA somehosting is the cpanel server...

    Critical PHP updates

Just tried for fun, at this moment at least 8.3.35 update is in Custombuild, most likely also the others.

Solved Change the Default Email Account for a Domain

Yep indeed, sorry about that @Cordarex because this confused me with the domains. You can change the default domain, not the mail username indeed. Normally I use the Enhanced skin and there this "default" is not present on email and on domains the main domain is in bold so you know you can...

Solved Change the Default Email Account for a Domain

I'm just looking at this and the account e-mail address seems not necessarily also be the default address for the domain. As admin, reseller or user, you should be able to login into the domain. Then under the email addresses choose which one you want as default mail address or create a new one...

Solved DA 1.712 Lost Custom DOCROOT

Did you doe a da build rewrite_confs after removing the realdocroot line? Might be worth a try if you didn't.

    Primary domain question

You can have a differnt FTP password than the admin password on the admin account to prevent admin password leaking. My collegue uses a domain on it but just for the name and ns settings and such. It's fairly static so no WP leaks. If you want to be safer, it's indeed better to use a seperate...

    WordPress Toolkit

I didn't look at the comparison site yet, but we've had Installatron for several years in the past and later switched to Softaculous. According to us, Softaculous is not only cheaper, but had better integration in DA and also not the least important, they have great support! We changed all...

    WordPress Toolkit

As far as I know the DA panel does not have the option to manage all sites with the build in WP Tools. Depends on what you're looking for. Softaculous is very nice priced and can do the same. Not sure if that also goes for plugins but you can look that up or wait for others to answer.

    User per Domain

You can just create a new user account and put the new domain in there. No problem.

    User per Domain

I presume you are talking about free panels? Because cPanel does this the same way as DA. So it's not that bad and CP is way bigger and more expensive. Only Plesk creates a user per webspace, but they use a complete different setup anyway. And DA can do that too. Why? You can just create a user...

    Legacy DirectAdmin no longer useful?

Compared to lifetime licenses maybe. But don't forget these licenses did not exist before. DA started with them (before lifetime was legacy) and with that force other players on the market to start something similar too. Which is cheap and great for hobbyists and developpers and was never...

July 2026 – Effectively the end of the DirectAdmin Legacy License

That goes not only for any panel but for any piece of software or even anything in life. If you want to trust on AI you got another thing coming with all mistakes they still provide. If you want guarantee's, it's best to program your own software/script/panel or whatever.

Internal lifetime license (UID 11247 / LID 83103) — datacenter destroyed by missile strike, need new netblock allowed

As @DirectAdmin Sales already wrote, this is not true. So that is what your ISP needs to do. Contact Directadmin themselves. DA will do nothing with your proof, the hosting provider needs to contact DA themselves. If they don't or can't, then it's end of story and you need to get a license...

How can I block this spam coming via Google?

Owz. I don't 100% trust AI, but I will implement it and see how it works. Thank you very much!

    Preventing malicious traffic from bc.googleusercontent.com

I don't have the leading dot, just bc.googleusercontent.com in the file. However, they found a new trick. They use all kinds of domains. Then use Google to send the mails. So Google mailservers are now used including their spf and dkim records. I didn't find a way to block them yet, except for...

Internal lifetime license (UID 11247 / LID 83103) — datacenter destroyed by missile strike, need new netblock allowed

The hosting provider is in fact real owner of the license. They should contact Directadmin for a solution, not you.

CSF future on DirectAdmin — Where do we stand 6 months after the shutdown?

I wouldn't know. Directadmin uses it's own CSF fork and is maintaining it too so not sure if there will be interest enough.

DirectSlave - solution to add and remove zones on slave without DirectAdmin

We don't only have 1 vps with no seperate ip so hopefully the migration can be also done inplace, or by removing current DS and installing the new one. A short outage time is no problem for us.

July 2026 – Effectively the end of the DirectAdmin Legacy License

Not quite true. Directadmin will still be running, but DA -will- stop supporting things having to do with database. Like creating databases, users, passwords and everything else DA does. One has to do it manually.

DirectSlave - solution to add and remove zones on slave without DirectAdmin

That's both great news! Nice to hear you're still alive and kicking. Eager to see the new version, looks very good. I presume upgrading will not be easy too. Great work!
