Have a vps account.

There is one ip address assigned to the acount.

I want to host one domain on the vps.

The domain needs an ssl cert.

The ip is currently assigned to admin.

There are no reseller or user accounts.

What are the steps necessary to assign one domain with a dedicated ip so I can use an ssl cert?

Thank you.

Use ip manager on admin level to point to the reseller the user is under then on that reseller you can move the ip to the user.

Lets try again. Not enough info.

I have one administrator account: admin

I have one IP address.

I want one domain on the account. The one domain will use a ssl cert.

How do I setup directadmin for this easy setup?

Not enough info.

It sounds like you only have one ip address for the server and you only want one domain on the server. Is this true?

Thanks for the quick response.

That is correct.

I have one ip address for the server and I have one domain name. I will not be using the vps for other domain names.

What is the best way to configure the system?

Set up the site as the "domain user" (right side of screen) from the admin login to DirectAdmin.
