I have a client that ask if they can have 600 domain aliases under one of their domains. This is the first time I have run into this question so I am not sure. I did some searching and could not find anything.

I plan to move this client to a DA server in a week or so.

Does anyone know if DA would have any issues with having that many aliases under one domain?

Got a reply from DA on this. They said it is unlimited as far as the aliases go.

I asked if they could think of any problems with doing this but they did not comment on it.

So if any of you can think of somethting I would be interested.

DA manages aliases in a text file with no indexing or hashing; so lots of aliases means a bit more time spent in delivery.

Because linux and unix will keep often-used files open in memory if possible, I suggest at least a gigabyte of memory on the server.

Other than that, I don't see any issues at all.
