Hi, Please bear with me while I try to increase my knowledge on this subject!
I'm sure we've all seen this in our logs:
I was just wondering whether legitimate ISP's would use pipelining if it was advertised and what the advantages / disadvantages of advertising it could be?
My reason for the interest is because in the past, I personally have been impressed when my mail client connection has taken just 3 or 4 seconds to complete checking my mail account and was wondering whether this might be due to those ISP's having pipelining enabled?
Regards, pete
