After last DirectAdmin update server is not responding

After the last DA update I completely loose connection with DA server.

I can not ping the IP from my location.
I also loose shell access.

It seams that I am blocked by IP tables.
Is there any service that allow us to teste remote browsing over hhtps ?

Yes, me too!
It's so strange. Everyone else can access websites on the server except me.
 
Hmm there where some probs with DA admin login , maybe in combination with security settings ip blocked.

Try from other IP ,if then login part as admin goes wrong see other topic in this forum and probably support ticket DA needed
 
VPN works fine.
4 out of 5 of my websites cannot be accessed by my real IP. The one that can be accessed is not proxied through CloudFlare.
 
I´ve check /root/denied_ips.txt and my ISP IP is not there.
I add my IP in exempted_ips.txt restart CSF and still no access.
I stop CSF service and also do not have access.

I can ping from other countries the IP and domain but I can not ping from my location.

Any help will be appreciated.

Is this a bug in the last DA update ?

Anyone more is facing the same issue ?
 
It seems that even with VPN my websites are not working.

After last DA update
No DirectAdmin login panel,
No shell access
Domains not working 403 error

This update is not stable
Anybody have a fix to this issue
 
I did check the /usr/local/directadmin/data/admin/ip_blacklist and my ISP IP was not there.

So I revert to the previous backup and now its working again.

I am sure something wrong with this update, others are getting the same issue.

My issue is similar but not as severe. My websites are online, I just can't access them.
Seems unrelated to CSF, iptables, BFM, etc. Nothing in HTTPD error log.

That's weird, is it reproducible from any other IPs? Is Apache service running?

No, only my IP. I can confirm all websites are online for everyone else. OpenLiteSpeed is running.
I can ping each domain successfully but that's it.
 
Would you mind switching OpenLiteSpeed to LiteSpeed trial or Apache just for a quick test if it's not related? As it could simply be a bug in OLS.

I can try, but do note my post above. I can access 1 domain out of the 5 on this server and it's the only one not being proxied through CloudFlare.

I could not ping the server IP from my ISP but I could ping from other service.
Browsing from my ISP can not connect but from outside I could get the error 403
UPDATE: I also could ping the domains but get 403 error when browsing but only from some ping services not from local internet.



Apache service was running, I did post the error_log
As I said :

I do not use CloudFlare I do use HE.
My DA server is on Debian

This is a big mess so I restore the old backup.
Something is wrong to impact a lot of DA users

No support from host company.
So I am back to the previous backup and DA version

I will probably try to update in future.

My comment was for @jayw1. I don't know how your case could be related to DA. Maybe you've done some configuration/routing changes ? DA isn't a firewall itself, if CSF is used - rules should be placed in iptables. Another guess - maybe you've got firewalld started.. Or CSF stop didn't clean the iptables up, I'm not sure.
 
I checked everything firewall related as well. iptables is using rules from CSF properly, firewalld is stopped and removed, I'm whitelisted everywhere.
Testing with Apache shortly.

What about me I just update.
I also stop CSF
 
The problem is back again.
I have restored the previous backup and use a different sequence to update and was qorking fine in the last days but suddenly today without perform any update all the services are not responding and I get error 403 in all domain ?

Is there anyone that can help me to sort this issue ?
