Hi,

after updating imagick PHP 8.* extensions DirectAdmin still shows them as availble updates.

The installation worked without errors. For example:

compiling imagick-3.8.1 for PHP 8.4...
download_cached: using cached '/usr/local/directadmin/custombuild/cache/imagick-pecl-3.8.1.tgz' file
Configuring for:
PHP Version: 8.4
[..]
Build complete.
Don't forget to run 'make test'.
Installing shared extensions: /usr/local/php84/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20240924/
Installing header files: /usr/local/php84/include/php/
PHP 8.4 extension 'imagick' installed successfully
Restarting php-fpm84

This is occurring both on my own server and on a client's VPS (hosted elsewhere).

Server environment: Debian 12
All the latest PHP versions and updates have recently been applied.

Is this a bug in DA (DirectAdmin)? I noticed that Softaculous also threw an error message regarding this earlier today:

PHP Warning: PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library 'imagick.so' (tried: /usr/local/php82/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20220829/imagick.so (libwebp.so.6: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory), /usr/local/php82/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20220829/imagick.so.so (/usr/local/php82/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20220829/imagick.so.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory)) in Unknown on line 0

I already "re-installed" it on the server, recompiled PHP but to no avail.

Any thoughts or suggestions?
