all emails being rejected

That was the real log, nothing changed.

And, for how i know wasnt a real mail but most probably was just spam/trash so, i think this verify sender fail is totally correct.

Not having any verify sender fail on normal/trusted/expected emails.

I still got trouble to understand how verify sender works, much of my missunderstanding is problebly from my knowledge of english language probably.

So, ive 2 opinion

1 - verify sender check smtp server that is sending and his fdqn and if the ip doesnt rdns to that fdqn fail

2 - verify sender check email domain, check email domain if have a valid mx record and if not fail

Which one is the more correct?

Thanks

Hello,

Number 2. The "sender" is the value specified in the "MAIL FROM" part of the SMTP conversation. This is done to ensure that whoever is sending the message can be replied to. If a sending account doesn't exist, we generally don't want to accept it.

The actual IP of the sending server is not related to the "sender verify".
However, the IP of the sending server would be related to the RBL dns checks, also done in the exim ACLs, if the RBL option is enabled.

Working

now working as it should, using spamblocker 4 exim.conf and exim.pl ver 8 --

thanks all whom blew the sails of a nube to steer in into the waves :)

I'm not sure where you're getting those version numbers from. I'm going to stop maintaining my own exim.pl, and rely on DirectAdmin keeping it updated. Can someone tell me, does my latest v4 file work with the latest (version 8?) exim.pl from DirectAdmin? If so, please email me as well as replying here and I can do it today.

Thanks.

Jeff
