Hi, I have recived this error message:

This is an automated message notifying you that an error has occurred while trying to update the software.
The generated error message is as follows:

Error restoring file /usr/local/directadmin/update.tar.gz :
gzip: stdin: unexpected end of file
/bin/tar: Child returned status 1
/bin/tar: Error exit delayed from previous errors

...but when I try to update manually, when I download the .gz update file, I see the "update.tar.gz" file is 0 Kb in /usr/local/directadmin directory and the update is not applied but obviously no other errors appear.

Can you help me?

now i see that work the manually update but the version number do not change like this:

And if I see the "update.tar.gz" file properties I can look this date: 27/09/2013
I think that isn't the last update file downloaded but I'm sure this file is the file downloaded because first I delete the old "update.tar.gz... why???

Debian 5 is end of life, so you can't upgrade. This was also said in the latest da-announce newsletter (subscribe here):
