An important question about transition

Hello Guys
I want to move to a new and bigger server ..this is my first time and I want to find out if I'm doing right and what I should do a more advanced stage please!

1: At first I order a new server and they are installing it and send me details
.right ?
2: order new directamin from here and they are installing it and send me details
.right ?
here is first question : How do I set the new directamin settings to be same like the old ?
3: i make backups for all my old users and uplaod it to the new server .right ?

4: make admin restore for all accounts..

now what after this point?

If IP is to be changed, take care to read and follow this link http://help.directadmin.com/item.php?id=87

All directadmin settings are in /usr/local/directadmin/conf/directadmin.conf, compare that file with new one, and change it to feet your needs.

Perhaps, your services are running with customized configs. In that case, they should be updated also.
