Automatically issue trial license & easy installation method instead of lot of manual

Hello,

I have 2 request:


1. Please Automatically issue trial license upon first login to newly installed DirectAdmin, It would be easy for deployment and migrating from one cP to DA or DA to DA.

Sometimes hosting providers really need to use Trial license for migrating data, etc., like cpanel provide automatic 15 days trial period.

- With automatic trial license we will be able to instantly deploy server, no need to create ticket.
- Migrate data from crashed or old server to newly created server without waiting for trial license.


2.
Add GUI installation after running command like cPanel provide easy installation method.

- I mean less manual work, Run one line command, It will install panel and provide login URL.
- Visit to URL and proceed further configuration like choosing some most required configuration.
- If possible use different method to enter IP, choose OS, etc from DA panel. (I mean no longer required to Choose OS while placing order and then choose same OS, IP, etc while installing DA. Add auto-detect OS option while installing)


-- I like Installation method of HostBillApp or SupportPal - After running command, When you login it display pending task to configure. It will display unless you click dismiss or complete all pending task like adding nameserver, choosing php version, apache setup, etc.,

Thanks, Very useful for quickly installation of DA but yet it will be difficult for creating pre-installed DirectAdmin KVM Template.


20 minute ago I wanted to create DirectAdmin template for KVM VPS for Pre-Installed DirectAdmin and found that placing Trial license order will take time so I preferred to change existing license IP but found that I need to wait which is bit bad.

cPanel does not limit changes of IP to 0. (Every month we can change IP to 2 or 3 times without manual verification or approval.

What is the difference from now? If you issue the install command for Directadmin, you get some choices and everything will be installed, including the DA GUI.
When installation is ready you are provided with the login link and the password also.
So I don't understand what you mean, at this moment this already happens with 1 commandline. The only difference is you have to add some options which a lot of us like different upon installation. That should be no issue for a bit of an admin.

There were good reasons for this as you might have read from the license thread. DA is not cPanel and it will never be luckily. This can be improved now since lifetime licenses will stop in the way they are not. But this was really needed to prevent abuse of them.
