Backup restore not available

I have by backup location set to /backup/daily and have week days prefixed for backup rotation.

Backups for Thursday has been successfully generated.

The Admin backups have been created in /backup/daily/Thursday <2:43:40>

But when I go to customer panel, it shows no backup available to restore.

If I go to admin restore and use path /backup/daily, it also shows error No backups available.

What am I missing or messing?

So for restoring instead of /backup/daily, I need to point it to the specific day like /backup/daily/Friday

But even after that I do not see any restoreable file under user da account. That means the server backups generated by can not be restored by user? They can only restore their own generated backups?

Admin backups are for the 'admins' indeed. Users can make their own backups, which they can restore themselves.

So, if I want to allow customers restore their website from our backup, I'll have to purchase something like JetBackup? I have no way to allow users restore full or partially otherwise? (from our backup)

Alternatively you might write a plugin for it. PHP, Perl, C, Go, Python, Bash - any language can be used here

JetBackup got many bad reviews in past time. I`d recommend to take a look at backuply.com (server license 55 usd/y), which - if i am right - you can get included together within Softaculous (server license 24 usd/y) even cheaper.
