Backups not rotating on hetzner storage box

Hi,

I have DA upload backups to Hetzner storage box which works fine, but when the storage is fills up, DA is not deleting old backups in order to upload latest and backups are in turn failing.

I contact my server company and they said that DA has issue rotating backups on Hetzner storage boxes.

Before DA I was on cPanel and cPanel was to do it without any problems.

Is this true ? Please confirm.

You do know DirectAdmin does not offer (officially) backup rotation?

The way it can be done is by using a custom destination path. (See: https://docs.directadmin.com/direct...kups.html#custom-append-values-in-backup-path)

How I have configured it is:
1 backup schedule with backups to /days/%A so that backups will be overwritten after they are a week old. (Since %A will be replaced with the name of the day.)
1 backup schedule with backups to /months/%B so that backups will be overwritten after they are a year old. (Since %B will be replaced with the name of the month.)

He is right, it lacks a configuration in the function to say, how many backup must be programmed so that on such day, the last one is deleted
