BFM skiplist not sync with csf.ignore

I have added IP address to the BFM skiplist from within the DirectAdmin controlpanel. According to this documentation these IP addresses should also be added to the csf.ignore file. But when I check the file, it is empty.

The documentation says:

With integration, when adding an IP to the skip list through the BFM, DA will add it to both brute_skip.list and to CSF's csf.ignore.

I installed CSF using the install scripts in that same documentation. So why isn't this working?
