I saw a project awhile back that allowed you to have a MySQL server as an ADDITIONAL method of looking up DNS entries and you could still maintain entreis in your httpd.conf file for other DNS resources. I wondered what others thought about doing something like this. I am seriously thinking of trying to do something like that. Would allow me to have a dynDNS type service with relative ease. Anyone have any thoughts on the topic?
