Brute Force Attacks

Anyone,what's with all the Brute Force Attacks.

I've notice an unusual amount of Brute Force Attacks on my system and was wondering if anyone else was finding the same??

It's normal, well, not normal as such but everyone gets attacks every day.

We use fail2ban with iptables to block the pesky gits.....Tutorials on how are on this forum.

Yes I created iptables using DirectAdmin's guide

However, I still find it amazing that is am getting so many Brute Force Attacks.

It's amazing that there are computers that can hack a system within 2 days..

To whom are you addressing this request? As a server administrator you can change the ssh port to any port you wish.
