When I look at the system information I see the following:

Processor Name Intel(R) Xeon(TM) CPU 3.00GHz
Vendor ID GenuineIntel
Processor Speed (MHz) 3000.869
Processor Name Intel(R) Xeon(TM) CPU 3.00GHz
Vendor ID GenuineIntel
Processor Speed (MHz) 3000.869
Processor Name Intel(R) Xeon(TM) CPU 3.00GHz
Vendor ID GenuineIntel
Processor Speed (MHz) 3000.869
Processor Name Intel(R) Xeon(TM) CPU 3.00GHz
Vendor ID GenuineIntel
Processor Speed (MHz) 3000.869

Why does it repeat so much? I think this is a bug.

Does the system have two dual core Xeon processors? If so, that would explain it. DA is seeing all four cores from the two processors and reporting back what it sees.

Ah I see! How do I setup my other processors to be used for things such as MySQL? I'm using Fedora Core 5.

This would improve performance greatly, if someone could tell me how to do this.

I am not sure what you mean by this...do you mean dedicate one of the processors to MySQL? If so I don't think thats possible as the processors are shared among any resource that needs them at that time. There may be a way to do it but I am sure it's nasty and not worth your time.

Yeah, that's what I meant. But you're right, it's probably better to keep it like this.

Wonder why I'm only using this server just as a webserver though... not like I run many sites on it anyway, might as well run a gameserver for example next to it.
