Hi All

I have always run my business since 2005 on reseller accounts using cPanel. With the rising costs of cPanel, I have decided that it is time to move everyone on to my own server.

However, I am not sure how to spec the server.

Currently I have approximately 350 cPanel accounts and I have my eye on a VPS server that has 8 cores and 12GB Ram. I plan to run DirectAdmin with CloudLinux but I'm just not sure if this will be enough as I also need to plan for healthy growth.

Do you think I will need more cores and more RAM??

Any advice is appreciated.

Domains: I would need to work this out
Well the sites range from PHP 5.6 -> 7.4
Storage is not an issue. The servers will have enough storage.

I only need to know if the performance specs are sufficient or if I need more.

you can try this config, then just upgrade if it will not be enough. use Opcache to decrease CPU load.
