Can not login to Directadmin

Hello Forums users,

I have trouble with my server. I can not login anymore in my directadmin. So i can not manage my websites properly.
I was told by my hosting soyoustart (ovh) to go to directadmin.com. So i kind of wanted to open a support ticket.
But to open a support ticket you need to know you're CLientid

On url : https://tickets.directadmin.com/new_ticket.php below i read:
You can obtain the CID/LID from:
Admin Level -> Licenses/Updates ( not possible i can not access directadmin )
or /usr/local/directadmin/scripts/setup.txt ( path invalid )

I tried thru SSH to get to the path "/usr/local/directadmin/scripts/setup.txt": But somehow /directadmin is not a dir within dir local..

Who can help me out or tell me how to get in touch with the support?

My licence id is: 149661 (provided by OVH )

Lil update

Hi all,

I managed to get to the setup.txt

So what within this file is the client and licence id?

i saw this in the txt:

uid=11111
lid=22222

But when i filled it out on the open ticket page it told me it was wrong.

I hope somebody can help me out

Odd uid and lid numbers. I don't know if that might cause the problem.

But why can't you login? Do you get an error notice, if yes, which one?
Did you check logfiles like /var/log/directadmin/error.log for example for clues?

Have you tryed to reset the admin password using the command "passwd admin"?
